Denver County Court handles more than 100,000 criminal and civil cases each year making it the busiest court with the highest caseload of any court in Colorado.

As a community, Denver County Court is comprised of 19 judges, 4 full-time magistrates and approximately 300 employees. DCC has jurisdiction over cases including Colorado State Criminal, Denver Municipal, Traffic, Civil, Small Claims and parking matters within the City and County of Denver. We are proud to boast the most diverse bench in the state and one of the most diverse benches in the country.

Judicial Officer Opportunities

The Denver County Court Judicial Nomination Commission is responsible for organizing job postings, processing applications, and conducting interviews for prospective judicial officers. The commission then presents qualified candidates to the Denver Mayor for nomination and appointment. Judicial officer opportunities will be posted here as they become available.
