Denver County Court Interactive Platforms
Introduction and Contact Information
The Denver County Court creates, uses, and maintains multiple in-house electronic platforms that are utilized by criminal justice partners, professional bonding agents, private attorneys, government agencies and the public. This includes, but is not limited to, the Denver County Court E-filing System, the Denver County Court official website, and the Denver County Court Public Portal, (hereinafter collectively and individually in both the singular and plural, referred to as ‘sites’). The sites are the official and only authorized and approved public facing platforms for the Denver County Court (“Court”) for civil, criminal, municipal (also known as General Sessions) and traffic cases. The sites are developed, operated, and maintained by the Denver County Court, with the intent of providing access form multiple interactions which include, but are not limited to: providing for efiling processes, receiving of court orders and case records management for attorneys, public records searches, registering public and private agencies for specific access, posting of private and professional surety bonds, obtaining general information, filing of complaints or compliments, linking to social media and other sites, enabling virtual court operations and live streaming, providing a venue of general contact for the court, other general interactions. Additionally, the sites allow for payment of fines, fees, costs, and other monies as may have been ordered by the court, as well as for the entering of pleas and tendering payments for non-criminal traffic infractions, and other infractions or designated offenses. The sites do not currently allow for payment of monies via the civil registry as owed to third parties on civil judgments. This privacy policy is specific to the Denver County Court sites which are independent of, and not associated with similar sites operated by other municipalities, cities, city and counties, tribal jurisdictions, or the state of Colorado.
The Court considers the privacy of our users to be extremely important. This privacy policy describes the types of information that is collected by visitors and users of our sites, as well as how we use the information that we collect.
This privacy policy does not extend to other platforms to which our sites may connect, including but not limited to, audio/video platforms, social media, and reference sites. Privacy policies of those platforms are governed by their own specific and individual privacy policies.

Information Available On Our Sites
In general, information on our sites is public record and access to this information is governed by laws related to Colorado public records, Colorado Criminal Justice records, Chief Justice Directives as issued by the Colorado Supreme Court, and various Colorado Statutes and ordinances of the Denver Revised Municipal Code.
In some instances, information on our sites may be restricted to specific users or parties to a case, as may be required by law.
Information Relating to Minors Under 21, Juveniles Under 18, and Children Under 13 Years of Age
Our sites do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information for minors under 21, Juveniles under 18, and Children under 13 years of age, unless such actions are authorized by law when interacting with our sites.
With the exception of traffic related matters, our sites do not provide public information on persons under the age of 18 years of age.
Information Not Provided By Our Sites
Because of the inability to redact certain non-public information from public records from our sites, our sites do not provide information on legal name changes and protection orders. Additionally, our sites do not provide information on juvenile cases, with the exception of legally authorized traffic related cases for persons under 18 years of age.
Our sites do not provide information on sealed documents, records, or cases, except to parties to those cases or other authorized attorneys as may be required or allowed by law; or to criminal justice agencies as may be required by law.
Log Files
Our sites makes use of log files which automatically store information about our users. The information contained in the log files includes, but may not be limited to, the following: Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time, login credentials, authorized users for existing accounts, login credentials, number of attempts to login, items filed/scanned/uploaded, notifications, transactions, payment history and error logs.
Cookies
Our sites utilize cookies to store information about pages visited within the sites, user preferences, and to record information specific to individual users. Users may manage the administration of cookies via the settings provided in their individual browser. Cookies utilized by our sites are operational and core business purposes of the sites and are not sold to advertisers.
Other General Case Specific Data
The sites maintain data at the users request when activating notifications features, case purchase features, and other user requested features in the application services.
The sites also maintain data necessary to complete core purposes of the specific site, including but not limited to: e-filing and e-serving documents, records management, tendering payments, providing issued orders, providing documents via email or text message, posting bonds, and other business needs. Data collected for these purposes, and relevant to the official court record, is shared to all parties of a case for their specific case(s), or as otherwise required by law.
What We Do With The Information We Collect
Unless otherwise required by law, the Court may retain the information we collect from our sites indefinitely. We use the information to perform day to day operations, to analyze and improve site performance, user experience, future improvements, security enhancements, addressing security concerns, troubleshooting and statistical analysis.
With Whom We Share Our Information
The Court does not partner with, provide, or sell data or information to any advertiser. The Court may share information upon subpoena in order to comply with any lawful court order or investigation. Except as specifically outlined below, the Court does not share the information we collect from parties interacting with our sites with any third party.
The Court may also share information with the State of Colorado Judicial Department for the purposes of streamlining services or providing a similar look and feel for users who utilize both the State’s efiling program and our Court’s E-filing platform.
