Honorable Olympia Z. Fay

 

Mayor Michael Hancock appointed Judge Olympia Z. Fay to the Denver County Court bench on January 13, 2015. Judge Fay received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Prior to her appointment, Judge Fay was an Assistant City Attorney with the Denver City Attorney’s Office representing Mayor Michael Hancock, the Denver Police Department, and the Denver Sheriff’s Office in federal actions. Judge Fay previously worked as Deputy District Attorney in the 20th Judicial District. She began her career as a civil litigator at the law firms of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (Bryan Cave LLP) and Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where she practiced in the areas of complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, and intellectual property.

Judge Fay serves on the boards of the Sam Cary Bar Association and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and is on the Executive Council of the Board of Governors for the Colorado Bar Association.
