Denver County Court

Forensic Peer Navigator Program

Forensic Peer Navigator Program: The experience with the criminal justice system impacts an individual’s life in many ways and it is best understood by individuals who have experienced it as a service user. Denver County Court employs four peer professionals to support any individual in the Denver County Court system, at any point in the criminal justice process.

Forensic Peer Navigators are people who use their own experience in the criminal justice system and recovery to help others who are facing similar problems. Forensic Peer Navigators can help connect individuals to resources in the community for recovery, jobs, housing, treatment, and more.  They can help individuals set and meet goals, and even go to appointments and recovery meetings with individuals.

If you would like to talk or meet with someone who has been in both the criminal justice system and in recovery, please give the FPN team a call or send them an email:
