Denver County Court

Clear a Juvenile Warrant

CLEARING A FAILURE TO APPEAR WARRANT

Denver County Court does not issue warrants for failure to appear on “JV” juvenile cases. The court will impose an Outstanding Judgment Warrant, also known as an OJW or lien against the driving privileges of a “JV” juvenile charged with a Municipal Ordinance Violation. If a “JV” juvenile missed their scheduled court date, a parent or guardian must contact the Court at 720-865-7840 or trcvclerksoffice@denvercountycourt.org to be set for a hearing on the failure to appear. If you choose not to address the failure to appear on the “JV” juvenile matter, the OJW or lien on the driver’s license will remain active and will impact the juvenile’s ability to drive or obtain a drivers permit/license.
