Juvenile Work Program

If you plead to or are found guilty of a crime, the judicial officer may sentence you to complete a certain number of hours on the Juvenile Work Program.

You will be given a date and time to report to conference room 435, next to Courtroom 4C, in the Lindsey-Flanigan Courthouse; on your first day of the Juvenile Work Program, someone over the age of 18 must be present when you check in. Deputy Sheriffs will check you in and transport you by van to a work site. You will be required to follow the direction given by the Sheriff. The Deputy Sheriffs will report to the Court if you successfully completed the hours of work. If you did not, you will be required to appear before the judicial officer to explain why not. It will be up to the judicial officer to decide the consequence of non-compliance.
